The FY ’26/27 Mid-Year Budget Review was tabled on 22 Oct ’26 under the theme “People, Productivity and Prudence”. No new tax measures were announced, although the Minister flagged reviews of export levy levels and the VAT zero-rating on sugar, and confirmed that the tax amnesty ends on 31 Oct ’26. The review revises revenue down by NAD1.5bn and widens the deficit to NAD16.3bn (5.5% of GDP). The MTEF relies on near-flat expenditure and a revenue rebound to return the primary balance to surplus.
