Namibia has now seen 12 consecutive quarters of positive real GDP growth after the 4.7% y/y real growth reported in Q1 '24. In terms of real growth, the electricity and water sector ranked first with a y/y growth rate of 9.8%. Wholesale and retail trade ranked second with a growth rate of 8.4%, followed by transport and storage (7.6%) and health (7.5%). Taxes on products also grew by 9.8% y/y.
