Resident private sector credit extension (PSCE) ticked up slightly to 1.6% y/y in Apr ‘24, up from 1.3% y/y in Mar ’24 but the second slowest print in the past 12 months. slowed for a third consecutive month to just 1.3% y/y. The rolling 12-month average has slowed for a 14th consecutive month to just 2.0%. Total resident private credit stands at NAD113.7bn, just NAD7m above the Jan ’24 peak. PSCE growth came in at 0.5% m/m, the first positive monthly print in three months.
