Private sector credit extension (PSCE) growth slowed to 1.7% y/y in Feb ‘24 from 2.4% in Jan ‘24 and 3.1% in Feb ‘23. This is below the rolling 12-month average of 2.3% and the third slowest y/y rate in the last 18 months, with just May ‘23 (1.5% y/y) and Sep ‘23 (1.6% y/y) slower. Resident PSCE contracted 0.1% m/m, the first m/m contraction in five months. Total resident credit now stands at NAD113.2bn.
