The FY ’24/25 budget speech is themed “Continuing the legacy of H. E. Dr. Hage G. Geingob by caring for the Namibian child.” The budget is presented amid heightened global uncertainty, characterized by expectations of sustained high interest rates, rising geopolitical tensions and more than half of the world engaging in elections this calendar year. However, the budget takes place amidst continued improvement in the domestic fiscal and economic conditions.
