Private sector credit extension growth further slowed to 2.3% y/y in Aug ‘23, the second slowest since Apr ’22. Business credit contracted for a fifth consecutive month (-2.0% y/y), while household credit rose 5.4% y/y. Total (resident) private sector credit now stands at NAD111.6 billion, effectively unchanged m/m (+NAD29 million m/m).
