Annual inflation for Dec ’22 slowed to 6.9%, down from the 7.0% reported in Nov but an increase from the 4.5% in Dec ’21. This brings annual average inflation for ’22 to 6.0%, the highest since ’17 (6.2%). Monthly inflation stood at 0.3%, down 0.5% recorded in November.
