Namibia Q3 GDP 2022
Namibia’s economy reported growth of 4.3% in Q3 ’22, slowing from a revised 6.6% in Q1 ’22 and 6.0% in Q2 ’22. The slower growth is to be expected as COVID-19 restrictions slowly move out of the base. This marks six consecutive quarters of growth, the first since time since ’15, although off a paltry base. Growth was driven by mining and quarrying (+14.9%), manufacturing (+12.9%), and wholesale and retail trade (+10.2%) – three sectors that typically account for a third of Namibia’s real value addition.
