Angola’s annual inflation decelerated to 18.16% in Sep ’22 (Aug ’22: 19.8%), the lowest print since Jan ‘20. The annual inflation continues a steady decrease, bucking global and regional inflation rate trends. Monthly inflation stood at 0.79% – this is the tenth consecutive month of decelerating m/m inflation. The National Bank of Angola is dovish on monetary policy on the back of a lowering CPI.
