Angola’s annual inflation slowed to 19.8% in Aug ’22, down from 26.1% in Aug ’21 an 21.4% in Jul ’22. This is the first time annual inflation has dropped below 20.0% since Mar ’20. Monthly inflation came in at 0.76%, the slowest since Mar ’15 and the ninth consecutive month of slowing m/m inflation.
