After affirming Namibia’s long-term sovereign credit rating (LT IDR) at BB (with a negative outlook) in Jul ’21, Fitch Ratings announced on 24 Jun ’22 that it had downgraded Namibia to BB- with a stable outlook. This comes after Moody’s downgraded Namibia to B1 with a stable outlook on 04 Apr ‘22.
