Private sector credit increased 2.1% y/y in Mar ’22, a slowdown from the 2.7% and 2.8% reported in Jan and Feb ’22, respectively. Again, if claims on the non-resident sector are included, growth in private sector credit extension is materially higher at 8.7% y/y (Feb ’22: 7.1% y/y).
