Two years since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Namibia’s tourism sector is reeling from the initial collapse in external demand and subsequent volatility with waves of COVID-19 infections and travel restrictions. Tourism largely came to a halt in Q2 ’20 and has since recovered a little, but not without serious damage along the way.
