Namibia’s Jul ’21 annual inflation is reported at 4.0%, higher than the 2.1% in Jul ’20 but marginally slower than the 4.1% reported in Jun ’21. The drivers for high inflation remain food and non-alcoholic beverages (at 6.1%), and transport (at 10.6%). On a monthly basis, prices increased 0.2%, compared to 0.5% in May ’21.
